Major Jackson awarded inaugural Patricia Cannon Willis Prize
Major Jackson, Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Chair in the Humanities, has been awarded the inaugural Patricia Cannon Willis Prize for American Poetry by Yale Library. Jackson was recognized for his acclaimed collection Razzle Dazzle: New and Selected Poems 2002–2022, published by W.W. Norton in 2023.Read More

Vanderbilt, Special Olympics Tennessee bid to host 2030 USA Games in Nashville
Vanderbilt University and Special Olympics Tennessee announced this week that they have partnered to place a bid to host the 2030 Special Olympics USA Games. If awarded the bid, the 2030 games would bring an estimated 4,500 athletes and 10,000 volunteers from around the country to Music City.Read More
